About us

This youth group is full of people who seek God’s face. We pride ourselves on the music we make and the worship that follows.

Shane Moore

Youth Pastor

Shane Moore has been Life Springs youth pastor since 2008. During which time he turned his life in a different direction, from a big business man to being called into youth ministry. He is currently teaching Agriculture Mechanics at Pike County high school and has been teaching since 2012. In a building where kids often feel like they don’t belong, Shane loves them and his classroom has always been a safe space for students in need of guidance or comfort.

FEWDM

Pastor Shane wanted something to base Life Springs youth around, he did some research and read a few books. He read Purpose Driving Youth Ministry by Doug Fields, Saddleback church came up with the 5 fundamental and Biblical principals we know as FEWDM.

Fellowship: For Life Springs youth, fellowship comes easy. Spending time with others, sharing the same principals and staying in the word together.

Evangelism: Jesus’s great commitment: living out a life in such a manner, crying out in front of everyone that Jesus is our Lord. Preaching the Gospel - The person and works of Jesus Christ.

Worship: Life Springs youth prides itself on how they worship, together, standing in a circle singing praise as a group.

Discipleship: Working through the word for the betterment of ourselves and others; holding each other accountable and growing together as a church community with meaning and purpose.

Ministry: Everything you touch is ministry, what you say, do, the way you love people, everyone is called to ministry. If the world knew that, it would be a much better place.
